In an effort to keep sponsorship direct and hassle free, the  World Home Coffee Brewing Championship (WHCBC) provides the below background and template for cafes, coffee roasters, equipment manufacturers or anyone interested in WHCBC sponsorship.

It’s about you and your community and not about us! 

The WHCBC is open to any suggestions on how you would like to be involved. There is no charge for sponsorship, and all that we ask is that you communicate with us by sending a direct message (DM) to the @whcbchampionship Instagram page using the below format to provide the details as to how you would like to be involved as a sponsor so that we can publicize a list of sponsors for each region. 

The idea behind WHCBC sponsorship is that you can use the competition as a platform to engage with your local community to spark discussions. Sponsors are in a unique position to communicate directly with those stuck in self isolation at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic and allow them to engage with you-  their local specialty coffee cafes, coffee roasters, equipment manufacturers and those out to spread positive vibes as well as with others enduring the same challenges around the globe. 

Sponsorship can be as simple as spreading the word or providing incentives to your local community, customers, social media followers and the coffee community at large. 

By way of example, a café in Sydney, Australia, may choose to sponsor by asking that all WHCBC competitors in Sydney tag them on any social media platform when they submit their entry post to the WHCBC Instagram site for a chance to win a prize! Or for those coffee competition types perhaps you may prefer to sponsor the most technical entry that uses an espresso machine and conforms best to the traditional Barista Championship format. 

You might also like to reward the most funny or creative entries with some loot, it is completely up to you and your prizes goes directly to your local community, it is that simple!
